NAMIBIAN COURT PROCEEDINGS APPEAL SET DOWN FOR HEARING
As announced previously, in June 2009 Ancash Investments (Pty) Ltd
(Ancash) lodged an appeal to the Supreme Court of Namibia against the
judgment in favour of the Company's wholly owned Namibian subsidiary Black
Range Mining (Pty) Ltd (Black Range) in its proceedings in the High Court of
Namibia against the Namibian Minister for Mines and Energy (Minister) and
Ancash.
The Company has been informed that the appeal has been set down for
hearing on 24 March 2010. Senior counsel has been engaged to appear for
Black Range. The appeal will be vigorously contested.
