TREATMENT STARTED
Eastland Medical Systems Ltd (ASX:EMS) is pleased to confirm that
following the completion of the training program last week for the medical
staff who are to be engaged in the clinical trial, the trial has now officially
commenced at the Kigali University Teaching Hospital in Rwanda.
Depending on the rate of enrolment and other factors it is hoped that we will
be able to inform the market on the progress of the trial in approximately 3
months time.

with positive
results
indicating the
formulation was
well tolerated
and showed no
adverse effects
in any of the
trial subjects.
