SEEK Limited (ASX:SEK) today announced changes to the leadership of the Think Education Group, Australia's leading provider of applied education and training and a wholly owned subsidiary. The new team will be led by Peter Everingham who has been promoted within SEEK to the role of Managing Director Education, from the role of Managing Director - SEEK Learning. In this role Peter will oversee the daily operations of Think Education, in addition to his current responsibilities managing SEEK Learning. Michael Ilczynski, in the role of Strategy Director Education will take on an expanded role leading Strategy for Think including M&A opportunities and new campus development in addition to his current responsibilities leading strategy across the Education Division. Andrew Bassat, Co-Founder and Joint CEO of SEEK Limited continues to have overall responsibility for the SEEK Education businesses which includes Think Education Group, SEEK Learning Ltd and IDP. These changes come about due to Mark Rohald, CEO Think Education Group, and Anthony Bohm, CEO Think Colleges resigning from their positions within Think Education. Both will also resign their positions as Directors of Think Education Group. Both Mark and Anthony will be with the business until June 2010 to ensure a smooth transition to the new leadership team. Mark and Anthony were co-founders of Think Education and are leaving to pursue other opportunities. "We are very proud of our achievements and are indebted to the team that have made our vision a reality. We both feel it is time to hand over to new leadership to drive the next phase in the consolidation of the business" said the co-founders. Andrew Bassat commented "I would like to thank both Mark and Anthony for their contribution and wish them well in their future endeavours. I look forward to having Peter and Michael more involved in the Think business. They have both had very successful careers within SEEK and both well and truly deserve these new opportunities. Since SEEK first invested in Think Education we have seen tremendous growth and expansion of the business, and we continue to be confident that the business is well positioned for the future. The business is in good health and we are able to reaffirm the previous guidance for 2010 earnings."
