AS part of his $1 million contract with Christopher Skase's Seven
Network, John Farnham makes his long-awaited guest appearance on the serial Home
And Away this week.
On Monday and Tuesday at 6pm, Farnham appears as Farnham - as manager
Glenn Wheatley has stressed, he is not making his acting debut, he is simply
being himself.
Farnham comes across with his usual affability in the series, which
incorporates footage from his recent Expo concert in Brisbane.
Little Sally Fletcher won two tickets for the concert, but she is
bed-ridden with chicken pox. So she gives the tickets to brother Frank and his
girlfriend Bobby, who meet Farnham and tell him of Sally's plight.
Being the perennial Mr Nice Guy, Farnham makes a special trip to Summer
Bay to surprise Sally with his bedside manner - and gives an impromptu rendition
of the Beatles' classic, Help.
