Lisa McCune still Logies darling

Four-time Gold Logie winner Lisa McCune has been nominated again for television's top award, despite her Blue Heelers character being killed off more than a year ago.

McCune has not appeared on television since her character Senior Constable Maggie Doyle was shot dead by her brother on the popular Seven Network police drama in February last year.

The Gold is the only Logie for which the star, who has won a total of 10 Logies, has been nominated.

Other nominations for the Gold Logie for the Most Popular Personality at the 43rd TV Week Logies include Home and Away's Ada Nicodemou, All Saints' Georgie Parker, SeaChange's Sigrid Thornton and McCune's Blue Heelers colleague John Wood.

Blue Heelers has been nominated for the Most Popular Program Silver Logie along with All Saints (Seven), Home and Away (Seven) and SeaChange (ABC).

Wood will compete for the Most Popular Actor Silver Logie with former co-star, SeaChange star William McInnes, current co-star Martin Sacks and Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson.

Young Home and Away star Rebecca Cartwright lines up against Australian television stalwarts Rebecca Gibney (Halifax, FP), Georgie Parker and Sigrid Thornton in the Most Popular Actress Silver Logie category.

Caroline Craig, who replaced McCune on Blue Heelers, has been nominated in the Most Popular New Talent - Female category, joining soapie starlets Tammin Sursok (Home and Away) and Madeleine West (Neighbours) and Sale of the Century's Karina Brown.
