And now, the story Adam McPhee may not want his new teammates to know. The former Docker will arrive at Windy Hill with the nickname Smokey, which he received after his first pre-season at Fremantle. The team was on afour-day trek across a property 540 kilometres from Perth when McPhee crept into some scrub, toilet roll in hand, to answer nature's call. As he set fire to the toilet paper, to obey camp rules and dispose of it, the teenager watched the bush catch fire. By the next day, more than 10,000 hectares of bush had been wiped out by the blaze. -- Emma Quayle
