BRITISH TV favourites including Alan Fletcher from Neighbours and Mark Furze from Home and Away are tuning up ahead of the start of this year's series of the UK celebrity singing contest Soapstar Superstar. Eleven of Britain's top TV stars will go head-to-head live in a singing showdown that ends on a finals high note next week. The line-up includes Fletcher , who plays Dr Karl Kennedy in Neighbours, and Furze, pictured, Home and Away's Eric "Ric" Dalby. Furze filmed a scene for the soapie in November at the historic Maitland Gaol.

LOVE My Way star Asher Keddie has wed theatre actor Jay Bowen in a mid-week, sunset ceremony at the Prince Deck in St Kilda, Victoria. The couple, whose relationship began two years ago while working in theatre production Cyrano de Bergerac, tied the knot in front of 110 family members and close friends. Keddie has won critical acclaim for her portrayal of the neurotic Julia Jackson in Love My Way. She looked stunning in a fine french opaque silk voile bias gown embroidered in fine silver bullion thread created by Melbourne designers Jacob Luppino and Anthony Pittorino. Bowen looked equally dashing in a black Armani suit complete with white shirt and black silk tie. While Keddie's Love My Way co-star Claudia Karvan was unable to attend, castmates Dan Wyllie and Brendan Cowell together with his girlfriend Rose Byrne were among the guests.

AUSSIE actress Emilie de Ravin, 25, who plays Claire Littleton on the TV series Lost, has separated from husband and fellow actor Josh Janowicz, also 25. The couple married in Melbourne in 2006 the first marriage for both. They have no children. Besides the US-produced Lost, de Ravin's credits include the horror film The Hills Have Eyes and TV's Roswell. Janowicz appeared on TV's Cold Case and was the "hot priest" in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
